South kensington

South Kensington is an affluent neighbourhood, home to some of London's best museums and cultural institutions. Huge mansions and Italianate stucco mansions make up some of the stunning residences in the area. Some of these large properties have been converted to apartments, though many still remain single-family homes.

One of the big attraction of this area is the close proximity to Hyde Park and it many activities that happen throughout the year. It is also home to the world famous Royal Albert Hall that hosts symphony performances, opera, rock concerts, ballet, and film screening – nearly 400 performances each year.

South Kensington benefits from a wide selection of restaurants, boutiques, saloons, fitness and spa retreats as well a variety of schools and hotels.

It is bordered on the north by Knightsbridge, on the east by Brompton, on the south by Chelsea, and on the west by Earls Court.
